Tasting Notes: Produced from two outstanding Yamhill-Carlton AVA sites, this Pinot Noir is a balanced representation of the terroir in our home appellation. These two vineyards, one from the eastern edge and one from the far western edge of our AVA, are complete with distinct soil types and micro climates. Blended together they create a Pinot Noir layered with nuance and character.  The profile of this vintage ranges from summer strawberry to dark berry and late season fruits, toasted baking spices of cinnamon and clove, pepper and dusty earth. This is a vintage that will be well enjoyed both young and with plenty of bottle age.

Winery Info: Our philosophy at Laurel Ridge is still driven by our founder David Teppola’s vision when he purchased the estate in 1974. David firmly believed that incredible wines come from incredible vineyards, and it is this belief that is the principle by which we operate to this day. It is our goal to farm and source the best fruit that Oregon has to offer, and to produce wines with minimal influence to highlight and enhance the unique qualities of each varietal, clone and vineyard.
